Collapsing drain

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 15:26, Tuesday 7 May 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This drain is slowly collapsing. The initial cause was surface dressing several years ago which left a level discontinuity subject to impact loads from large heavy vehicles. Now every time a heavy vehicle passes over the drain it causes a ground wave which shakes the adjacent houses, causing internal cracking to plaster finishes.
