  • Your report says this was actioned to be fixed in May 2024. There has been no action and we are now end of September. Inaction has again meant that during the 2 recent floods, the water cannot drain away. As mentioned before, cars pushing through the water (if they don’t break down) are causing huge damage to the extremely tall wall of a Grade 2* listed building, which earlier this year led to a partial collapse. This is a serious safety hazard, Also resulting water damage to the verge is making it increasingly unstable and perpetuating the problem of more erosion and therefore more blockage. These multiple drains desperately need cleaning. Photos attached of the water that cannot drain away, and taken a week ago of the blocked drains.
