Water flooding down road due to blocked drain further up London Lane

There is fast flowing water running down London Lane. Vehicles are having to drive on the wrong side of the road in order to avoid the deep water causing very dangerous conditions for pedestrians and other road users. The water is now so deep that the passing traffic causes water to splash right over the pavement and onto our front door making it hazardous to leave and enter our property. We have been living with this for over a week now and it is dangerous and intolerable. The drain needs to be unblocked as a matter of urgency.

  • Thank you for reporting the flooding caused by blocked gullies. We are aware of the situation and have initiated a reactive gully cleaning to address the blockage.
