Long grass on junction exit.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Please could the long grass be cut on both sides of the exit from Ardington Lane onto the A417 as it is difficult to see oncoming traffic when trying to pull out onto the main road. Thank you very much.

Oxfordshire County Council, as the Highway Authority, is ultimately responsible for the maintenance of grass verges alongside the carriageway network throughout Oxfordshire (excluding motorways and trunk roads). Under our new approach, all roadside verges in both rural and urban areas are cut once a year. If necessary, we will trim areas that impede driver visibility more regularly.
