The public road alongside the Walstead Bicester factory has developed large potholes and damage to both the road and kerbside which has got a lot worse in the last 6 months. This is a busy road with frequent heavy lorries and is also a fork lift route. The road is sinking where a water company had previously dug the road up a couple of years ago and this is creating a major hazard, particularly during wet weather where the water stays for a number of days and hides the potholes. There has recently been an incident where a fork-lift lost it's load when a wheel fell into a hole. There is a serious risk of a truck tipping which could cause a serious injury to the driver.

The state of the road and kerbside continues to deteriorate . There is now major damage to the road which is increasing the risk of a serious accident, particularly for the fork lift drivers who carry heavy loads in the area. There is a risk of a fork lift either toppling its load or tipping over, which would result in a major health and safety incident and a possible legislative response. I would therefore welcome prompt action at the earliest opportunity.
