Blocked drain

The drain is completely blocked and rain water floods across the road with just the slightest downfall creating a very dangerous corner as cars cannot drive through it so drive on the other side of the road on a blind corner.

  • Drain still blocked and the surface of the road in this area now very badly damaged with deep potholes due to the road being covered in water most of the time. One of the potholes is particularly bad and a danger to cyclists and those on motorbikes.

  • I have escalated this report to highways.engagement@oxfordshire.gov.uk and requested an update for the reporter who contacted Highway Enquiries by phone today.

  • Catch pits need clearing out but they are located in a restrictive location. These have been booked in for 1st October clearance.
