Mutliple potholes and mulch blocking road

Over the last 6 months the potholes on the front road of Upton Close have been getting bigger and more abundant. Currently I count around 3 large potholes.

These have been exacerbated by the leaves that fell over the winter. In 2023 the council did a great job clearing the leaves once they had all fallen. This was not done last winter and have since now turned to mulch that has made the potholes worse.

The leaf mulch needs to be cleared and the potholes made good please.

  • Thank you for your report. We have arranged for the x3 potholes opposite those properties fronting Upton close, these should be completed within the next 28days. The District Council are responsible for the street cleansing of leaves etc please kindly contact them direct.
