  • LARGE POTHOLE: I have just hit a large deep pothole in this location which could easily have damaged my car ( being checked at local garage in two days) but is particularly dangerous for cyclists. The pothole is on the west bound carriageway several yards beyond the entrance to 'Hoplands' and measures approximately 18x9x6 inches (LxWxD). This needs urgent attention before someone is injured or worse. This has obviously been causing grief for some time as there are two wheel trims on the adjacent garden wall!
