Highways maintenance have left Road Closed signs in hedgerow

These signs have been here for well over a week since the works were completed. They were obviously not collected on completion.

  • There is no need for an image - it is obvious if you go to the location in the map. Another maintenance team were in Icknield Road two days ago doing road repairs. I would have thought they would have picked them up as they were so close and obvious! But they didn’t. It doesn’t need investigating - the signs just need collecting - it’s that easy!!!!!

  • Along with the signs there is also a traffic cone and heavy sand bag weight for the signs. I hope you can collect them soon as it doesn’t set a very good example if the Council itself looks as if it is fly tipping!
