Roadside soakaways need debris cleared
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 10:52, Fri 5 April 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later
The hill above Whitchurch has a total of about ten roadside soakaways which reduce the amount of storm water that flows down and pools outside The Greyhound in the village centre. They are an important part of the village's flood defences. As tree and leaf debris builds up each year, the approach to each soakaway become blocked and storm water tends to ignore them and flow down the road. Please can someone clear the debris so that this flood protection works properly. Thank you.
