Multiple potholes and uneven road surface
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 10:06, Fri 29 March 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
On brow of hill there are multiple potholes and the road surface is very even. This stretch of road has been an issue for a very long time. It just gets worse and there is an every increasing risk of a head on collision. Drivers approaching from the bottom of the hill are having to move over to the opposite side to avoid serious damage to their vehicles. Drivers from the other direction can not see oncoming cars making this manoeuvre because it is on the brow of a hill.

Large pot holes on brow of the hill. this is danerous due to drivers moving to the middle of the road to avoid them, an accident waiting to happen.

As previous post say, this is a serious accident waiting to happen. People try to avoid the series of potholes on the hill travelling towards Witney with a large and deep hole at the brow of the hill. I have seen x3 cars in the last week on the other side of the hill changing their tyre having hit this hole. It's definitely not a safe place to stop and take photos. Very disappointing that this stretch was not included in the works completed last year as this hole has been patched before.

I am astonished that a pothole of this size has not yet been investigated and urgently repaired. I was forced to drive over it this morning due to an oncoming HGV and now my suspension is making a strange noise. I will be seeking reparations from the local council for any costs incurred as this has been reported nearly a month ago.
