New 40MPH marking, painted last week, is very close to the 20MPH speed limit on the A4130.

New 40 marking is too close to 20 mph speed limit already existing to prevent accidents at a sharp bend. Please consider marking 20 on the road next to the sign and refresh the hatch lines on the bend asap.

  • Thank you for raising this concern with us. Apologies for the delay in response. We are investigating the area indicated, however we believe the 20mph signs you have indicated are a recommended speed limit for the corner as opposed to the legal limit.
