Huge pothole - VERY DANGEROUS

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 21:40, Wednesday 6 March 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Two huge potholes in the carriageway, right where wheels are travelling. These have been an issue for well over a week now. This is causing significant damage to cars, that are being damaged.

This is a problem due to the incredibly frustrating water that keeps pouring onto the street from the culvert and subsequently damaging the roads and property. This needs to be fixed before more damage is caused, or at very minimum a cone or warning in place to save the poor drivers that are damaging their cars by hitting two huge potholes.

Please fix!

  • Hi,

I already have provided a photograph that provides an image of the issue and the surrounding areas - so I’m unsure what else exactly you want from me here. One thing that is for certain is that it is still an huge and still very dangerous, so I hope the large volume of enquiries don’t also present a danger to safety, as this one certainly does. I also find it laughable that it takes this long for you to respond, where you clearly don’t fox an issue - but any claim for compensation is delayed and queried and dragged out for months. I don’t mean to be rude, but this process is a complete and utter joke - but…. It’s really really not funny.

Please let me know what other picture you would like (so you can delay response) i mean so you can consider the issue more fully…..
