Banks washed into road

Hello

RE: Kerb Install - Along roadside verges outside Owlscote Barn, High Street, Upton OX119JE

We live in Upton, OX119JE and along the boundary of the property we have a grass verge with no kerbs. As there are no kerbs the grass verges often get washed out with heavy rain resulting in the road becoming muddy and dangerous.

We would like to have kerbs installed at our cost along the boundary edge to stop the mud washing onto the road and help guide the surface water towards the road drains.

My questions is do we need permission to carry out this work? We would of course install a kerb in-keeping with the surrounds.

Attached a couple of photos for reference.

I look forward to hearing from you soon Kind regards Andrew Scott
