Stream bank & road eroded - need reinstatement
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Sue Meech at 14:38, Mon 26 February 2024
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later
Probably due to heavy vehicles mounting the verge, the stream bank (reinforced concrete / sand bags) have fallen into the stream. The road surface has also eroded at one point, leaving a 6-8 inch drop into the stream, which could be quite dangerous for vehicles. The stream bank needs reinstating & probably raising (it has been virtually flattened at one point) and the road erosion also needs fixing. Do lt me know if you need further information. Many thanks

Good afternoon - it is now almost 7 months since we reported this issue, and 2 months since we followed up, but we have yet to have any response to our request for reinstatement of the stream bank. Your works team have followed up on the road erosion, notified separately by our parish fixmystreet superuser, but we have not had any response on the larger issue of the erosion of the stream bank. We look forward to hearing from you shortly. Many thanks
