Gate blocking cyclepath

Reported via desktop in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 00:45, Thursday 15 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

After some work was done in the park a week or so ago, the gate at the Croft Road end of the Marston Cyclepath was closed and locked. This forces cyclists to mount the kerb to pass and bring cyclists and pedestrians into contention in a narrow opening. This is likely to cause an accident.

Please lock the gate open as it has been since the summer shortly after it was erected or, even better, remove it. (I believe there is a bollard at the other end of the path preventing vehicles accessing the park so the gate is unnecessary.)
