Missing footpath

Reported via desktop anonymously at 15:05, Tue 13 February 2024

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

This stretch of verge (approx. 100 metres) is constantly used as a footpath but there is no footpath laid. When wet and muddy people often step into the road with two lanes of oncoming traffic. A footpath is required for safety purposes.

  • I was about to report the missing footpath as mentioned of the area and gladly someone already reported the same issue as well. This footpath is definitely needed as people are constantly walking on the road instead of the pavement especially due to the rain and mud. With busy traffic on the road, it is seriously a safety issue. Attached with the photos taken on Feb 21, 2024 to indicate the pavement condition
