Reports on these same repeat defects in this area go back to at least 2016!!!!!
Nearly 8 years on and many repairs later, the saga continues.
Still, if you waste money on stupid and unnecessary 20 mph speed limits then no wonder you've not got enough money left to repair the roads PROPERLY.

Thank you for your report and apologies for the delay in a response. Could you please let us know if this is still an issue or if this has now been repaired? If this is still an issue, if possible and safe to do so, could you please provide any new images and detailed location information of the issue so we can get this raised for repair faster. Many thanks and kind regards

Ever get the feeling we are just wasting our time reporting these potholes and other road defects?
As there is no footpath from the A417 down into the High St in the village, how long before someone twists or breaks their ankle in one of these potholes?

This needs urgent attention. No way of avoiding if your turning right into the village.

I think once a report has been submitted, further comments to it aren't notified to OCC.
If I could be bothered, then I'd submit some fresh ones, but chances are they would get ignored too.
If I worked as incompetently as whoever is responsible for dealing with reports on here, then I'd have been sacked by now.
