Red light jumping continued

Reported via desktop in the Traffic Lights (permanent only) category anonymously at 21:05, Monday 12 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Red light jumping is still happening here, reported to the police and they had done nothing, I had two near misses with people who were still coming out of downs road, even though the lights had changed. these lights need a camera as this was complete carnage, the people using downs road seem to think they still have the right to cross even though they have a red light. I also checked the sequence and there is a zero second delay between the light on downs road changing red to the lights on the b4047 changing green, they change in tandem with only a split second between them, no as this is an excuse for bad driving habits but it also needs looking at and they need a bigger gap between the change. maybe you to need to contact the police to address this issue as i have contacted them twice now twice with no follow up
