Overhanging hedge, 6 Divinity Road

Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 17:03, Monday 12 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

It is very difficult to to use the pavement outside 6 Divinity Road due to this overhanging hedge. It's not fair on people in the area who have limited mobility or use pushchairs. Please urge owner/occupier to cut this back to the boundary line. Thank you.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Oxfordshire County Council at 17:04, Monday 12 February 2024

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed  from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
