Flooding of road and footpath between Kidlington roundabout and Oxford Parkway

Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category by Chris Brennan at 21:20, Sunday 11 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

After heavy rain there is always a large puddle in the gutter next to the OCC Highways electronic transport information screen on the east side of the A4165 between Kidlington Roundabout and Oxford Parkway. The path also gets flooded and the situation is worsened for pedestrians and cyclists because passing vehicles - particularly buses in the bus lane - splash more surface water onto the path. There is no current alternative path because of the roundabout works. My photo from Friday 9th Feb shows an Oxford Parkway user unable to walk back to Kidlington because the path on the west side of the A4165 is closed and the path on the east side is flooded. Could this please be investigated and a solution put in place?
