Poor Drainage following roundabout renovation in 2023

Reported via mobile in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 14:06, Friday 9 February 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 7 minutes later

Whenever there is persistent rain, the NW side of the roundabout floods to a depth in excess of 15cm due to poor and inadequate drainage. The flooding is significantly worse following the renovations to the roundabout in spring/summer 2023. There does not appear to have been any oversight of the roundabout renovation and approval for the completion of this work should never have been agreed. This has obviously been reported before and nothing has been done to rectify the problem; a very unsatisfactory situation and one that does not give confidence that there is effective council approval and oversight.
