Blocked Storm Drain

Reported via desktop in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 16:30, Monday 22 January 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The storm drain is full of silt so water draining from Shotover is going over the top of the drain. A team were here recently but I think they only cleared the mud and leaves from the grill with a pressure washer and didn't empty the trough underneath. As we are likely to get a lot more rain in the near future could you please send the tanker out to clear out the drain and prevent the excess water and debris accumulating on the corner of Blenheim Road and Spring Lane. Thanks

  • We have had a lot more rain since I reported the blocked drains a month ago. The roofing contractor in Blenheim Road has had to place sand bags below the storm drain to stop his premises from being flooded.
