Subsiding road, large multiple potholes on road egdes and passing places(single track)

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 15:56, Sat 6 January 2024

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

From junction at Berrick Road to end of single track section. Road subsiding, becoming very uneven across and along carriageway. Multiple potholes at edges making it almost less than single track. All passing places now covered in thick mud obscuring the probably shark-infested large deep -and increasingly unavoidable- potholes now less than a car length apart. Been getting worse for ages. Please, could there be at least a 'craters in road, roller coaster ahead' sign!

  • Funnily enough, the subsidence is still there entirely unchanged. The potholes in the passing places however have got worse. Its rapidly becoming single track with no passing places, just craters such that any car going into the passing place may become stuck. Some may now have their own ecosystems. There is an uneven road sign at the chalgrove end though. Location from junction of berrick road and hollandtide Lane to the end of the subtly track section.
