Re-reporting of Mud Accumulation at Pedestrian Crossing
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Martin Hughes at 19:13, Fri 29 December 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This is not a street cleaning issue although it needs to be cleaned up. This is an issue of the lack of drainage due to poor leveling. The transition from pavement to road surface is sunken below the adjacent drain. It floods after rain, only partially draining away and leaving a pool at the transition and across the pavement. It accumulates mud from the road which makes it both a slip hazard after rain and frost. The sunken section needs to be raised and therefore is repair work.
