Incorrect speed indicator device

This is a 20mph limit but the speed indicator device still shows 30mph. It activates for most vehicles which pass it suggesting that most vehicles are travelling at close to twice the limit. This has been reported previously but no action has been taken.

This road has a lot of vehicles travelling at high speed and unsafe pedestrian routes. It is has high potential for an collision resulting in injury.

  • We are aware of this issue, unfortunately it is not possible to adjust the existing vehicle message signs from 30 to 20, therefore they need to be replaced.
