Road water drainage + pavement condition
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 01:15, Thu 14 December 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This has been an issue for many many years and has never been effectively dealt with. The lack of drainage and the road/pavement level means that road water runs onto the drive way and sometimes reaches the front door of a property.
Along side this, the pavement is in a very poor state. It is regularly flooded, plus it needs finishing at the property boundary.
The upcoming roadworks along this stretch of road in January 2024 would, at best, be an ideal time to address these issues, at worst it must take the road/pavement level issue into account so as not to further exacerbate the problems
