Dangerous mud bath of a verge, water meter unreachable.

Reported via desktop anonymously at 08:26, Sat 9 December 2023

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

ENQ23973976 refers to a previous report on this, which you keep closing without actually reviewing properly, my request is for you to prevent a dangerous issue and actually make it in keeping with the rest of the houses in making my water meter reachable.

The photos above show the state of the verge, which Bicester TC still haven’t bothered to maintain (I have to cut it with unsuitable equipment) when it is overgrown. The first picture is my water meter somewhere beneath y inches of water a it continues to subside. The other pictures are all my neighbours water meters, please play spot the difference and actually do something to rectify the issue.

In the summer it is not maintained and turns into an unkempt mess (appreciating that is a BTC issue), in the winter it turns into a dangerous mud bath . The most sensible thing would be to make it in keeping with the rest of the street and pave it. It would actually improve drainage given the water could reach the drain which is close by instead of pooling,
