All the leaves were raked away but there is a four inch deep lake around this drain.

This water is from Camp Road btw, hence all the mud in the water.

  • Thank you for your report. Our gully cleansing contractor has encountered difficulties in clearing the pipes to restore the drainage system’s functionality. The Oxfordshire County Council will now conduct additional investigations to determine the root cause of the drainage system failure and propose a solution. While we oversee highway drainage, it’s essential to consider other potential factors. These may include involvement from other service providers like Thames Water, or the issue could be related to a private ditch, stream, or culvert.
