I understand that under the Section 106 rules the Hewett Wood developer was obliged to ensure that any damage to the highway was made good. For many months there has been a series of faults along the southerly edge of Woodcote Road from the junction with Wallingford Road as far as Hewett Wood. As there is no defined footpath in the Woodcote Road this part of the road is used by residents as a footpath and is a real trip hazard as well as a risk to cyclists and drivers. The highway is also merging in to the hedgerow. It needs resurfacing all along that edge and the Road edge properly defined.
