The culvert is on verge of catastrophic failure

Reported via desktop anonymously at 19:27, Monday 20 November 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and West Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

The roots of a very large tree is compromising the structure of the culvert. I have been monitoring the culvert for over 2 years. The concreate slab is definitely moving due to the tree roots & stress as the tree leans towards the road. I don’t know when it will fail or when the tree finally keels over, but pollarding the tree before this happens will save a lot of time and money, then retrieving the situation after the tree falls and severely damages the culvert & causes a flood as the concrete slab will more than likely block the culvert.
