Pothole in the pavement outside 3 maple close
Reported via iOS in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 14:44, Mon 20 November 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
There has been a pothole on the pavement/verge out side 3 maple close for a number of years getting steadily worse. It fills up with rainwater when wet. It’s also quite uneven and I have gone over on my ankle a couple of times walking by it. It looks like it needs filling in with tarmac as was done on the opposite pavement.

Thank you for your report. I have visited the site, that you pinpointed on the map, the verge (service strip) in front 3 Maple Close, see photos, and assessed the issue that you have identified. I could not find the pothole you refer to, at this location. The depression in the verge caused by constant vehicle parking I did find, see photos, unfortunately, does not meet our current intervention criteria, as it is on the verge, not the metalled footway, so I cannot arrange a repair. We will continue to monitor this site during our routine inspections. I am therefore closing this report.
