Badly broken pavement, uneven surfaces

The pavement along from the corner (Albury View) to the A418 is badly broken up, uneven and, in some areas, puddles with water when it rains. The pavement runs in front of the Tiddington with Albury Notice Board. Recently an elderly parishioner fell; cutting her hand and was badly shaken. Pushchairs, childrens bikes, etc struggle to get round the corner and along this stretch of the pavement.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed the area highlighted and currently this doesn't meet the criteria for intervention. We've added this location to our forward programming list as more substantial repairs could be considered in the future. We will continue to monitor the area for future defects via our statutory inspections.
