Repaint cycle lanes

Reported via mobile in the Suggested improvements category anonymously at 13:39, Fri 17 November 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Repaint Cycle lanes Ock Street both directions , Stratton way East bound .This was first reported on the 29/4/22 Yes2022 , after further requests to my local MP and councillor it has still not been addressed . I understand the abingdon cycle infrastructure plan has a 10 year plan . I do hope it can be completed before 2032 . If you you are serious about protecting cyclists on two of the busiest roads in Abingdon town centre , l believe this work should be given a priority.

  • The Stratton Way lanes have since been repainted. I don't think the Ock Street ones have.

  • If the broken uneven paving paving slabs outside Banbury Court on main Rd vineyard can be replaced that would be amazing seing as I see bikes ride on the pavement frequently There must be some money in the budget to get this repaired. shorley it's better to get this repaired before a cyclist or pedestrian injures oneself and then is forced to put a personal.injury claim into the council for lost income expensive physio treatment etc.
