Large deep pothole concealed by puddle and shiny road surface.

A large deep pothole on a dangerous section of the A4074 which is unavoidable with oncoming traffic. There are abandoned vehicles at the pub (The Packhorse) further on which all have broken wheels and tyres.

If not fixed this could cause a serious accident.

    I crashed into this pothole Sunday night and suffered tyre and wheel damage. I wanted to report but your website said that since the hole has markings, there is nothing to do. I took the picture the next morning to understand what hit me. Your online map shows work symbols, so maybe something is finally happening for this large deep hole that is impossible to see when it's dark.

  • Hit a large pothole on A4074 near the Packsaddle in the dark this evening driving towards Reading will have to check my tires in the morning
