Investigating
Drain concrete channel silted and blocked
Reported via desktop anonymously at 13:22, Wed 1 November 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council less than a minute later
The drain concrete channel down the bank of the A420 is blocked with silt and plant life. The blockages cause the contaminated road water to flow over the sides and cause the adjoining farm field to get boggy, ruining grazing land and causing foot rot etc.

Thank you for your report. I have looked at this report and assessed the issue you have identified. I have previously visited this site, you pinpointed on the map, the drainage channels serving the embankment of the A420, Cumnor to Botley section, Cumnor bound side, in relation to the other report you mention, see: https://fixmystreet.oxfordshire.gov.uk/ report/ 2667399 , which I re-assigned to the Drainage Team to assess and investigate. I am also re-assigning this report to the Drainage Team to assess and investigate.
