Multiple deep potholes

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:40, Wed 1 November 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

Disabled bay lines have been created on road by Banbury Cross Health Centre, through and across deep potholes. An accident waiting to happen for disabled users as they get out of their cars. Common sense tells you to fill the holes in first!!! Please do a risk assessment asap

Council ref: ENQ23979101

  • The road surface is terrible , and worse since the yellow and white lines were repainted , numerous potholes to turn an ankle walking across the road on dark nights !!

  • If you follow Monument Road along and down into New Road (or up New Road from Crouch Street), you'll find multiple deep potholes waiting to ensnare hapless motorists every time we/they drive down there (my parking spaces are on said potholed road, so they can't be avoided). Any chance of a nice tarmacing job from top to bottom??

  • New road (surprised about the terrible road state there considering high flux of elderly people walking to the surgery) down to Crouch st: Interesting about it doesn’t meet criteria for fixing….. currently, it’s worse than the road from Paoy Pet to Siem Reap (Cambodia), and that I thought was the worse road I have ever driven… until I moved to Banbury last year and discovered the criteria for fixing the pot holes here are within range zero to none.

My bad I have completely miss-judged what we pay road tax for here… never mind… will swap my fancy car for a quad bike then.
