The streetlights have been off since Wednesday 26th September and the issue was reported on 27th. Received an updated this morning (2nd October) advising it’s been fixed, but unfortunately the streetlights are still off as shown in the photos taken this evening.

  • There is an electricity supply fault at this street light and has been sent to the electricity company for repair, it depends on workload as to how long it takes but is in hand to be rectified

  • Thank you for your report, this has been logged on our management system which is in the process of being replaced. Our termed contractor will aim to have this repaired within the next 4 weeks. However, bad weather, supply chain delivery delays and COVID isolation of fault repair crew members can and is leading to extended fault repair times currently. If it is found to be a supply fault this will be passed to the local electricity network operator to attend.

  • The street lights on three posts have been off for months leaving a significant patch of road unlit. This is dangerous for all road users, particularly pedestrians and cyclists. As the winter is approaching, the weather conditions are only getting worse. The darkness could add more hazardous for the road users. Hope the faults can be looked into and fixed ASAP.
