Barrier damaged and blocking bike lane
Reported via desktop in the Bridges category anonymously at 09:40, Monday 2 October 2023
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The barrier has been hit by a vehicle and damaged yet again and is blocking the bike lane. I found the keep right sign dumped on the bike lane and put it back. Vehicle activated speed warning signs or traffic lights are needed. I have made so many complaints about this I am losing count.

Well really the solution here is just to fix the bridge and open it back up for two-way traffic. Visibility is terrible here so seeing when the bridge is clear is very difficult.

I was going to use a crowbar to move the barrier so it is no longer forcing cyclists up the kerb to avoid oncoming traffic. Someone else had already done it. The barrier is still partially blocking the bike lane.
