Sunken wheel tracks / poor road condition

Along this section of road the wheel tracks have sunken to such an extent the majority of cars are now forced to straddle the centre of the road and the verge to prevent the car grounding and scraping on the centre of the road. As this is a single track road it is causing considerable damage to the verge of the remaining road surface. This has been an issue for many years now as this section of road has been my commute to work for 12 years and has been gradually getting worse for the entire period.
