Large hedges over growing the public high way on the right hand side opposite the alley to Trinity Park, hazard for walking towards traffic, no room for large pram

Warwick Road, Banbury,The hedges are over grown on the pavement opposite the alley that leads to Trinity Park, can hardly push a pram on the pavement

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. Oxfordshire County Council is only entitled to carry out works to keep the streets safe. However, in this instance the highway was not obstructed from use and we do not believe we have sufficient cause to take further action at this time but will continue to monitor during statutory inspections
