Additional hedge required to eliminate road noise and pollution

Reported via desktop in the Grass and Hedges category anonymously at 20:37, Sunday 1 October 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

There is a large patch of grass in front of our house that is owned/maintained by yourself. In the winter the bushes that line the road become so bare that the road noise is very loud (from within the house). I was wondering if there was any scope for planting some additional evergreen hedges or bushes to help with the road noise, assist in additional privacy and overall air purification? I have considered planting something myself, but it’s a very large area and as we don’t own the land wanted to investigate options with you.
