Roadside drain blocked

The drain at the location has alot of debris down it, during the heavy rain several months ago twice the drain was not able to drain away and the turning circle & it became flooded. Alot of the dirt that washed down the road is still in the road and this will have only added to the bedris down the drain also.

  • Thank you for your report. Oxfordshire County Council is responsible for maintaining approximately 120,000 gullies on the highway network. Gullies are cleaned in accordance with the County Council’s maintenance policy and we operate a targeting programme with a higher frequency of cleaning in areas at risk of flooding.
