Slopped pavement needed

Reported via mobile anonymously at 04:39, Friday 29 September 2023

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

We find it hard to move into pavement to go to our house. I cycle with a child trailer and two young children that one of them find their bike heavy to move it up to the pavement by themself. We need to walk our bikes on the pavement to get home. We have other challenges that cannot be included here due to privecy but im happy to be called and provide details. Having a small slopped pavement on both side of Peel Place will make a difference for us. Thank u

  • Last night walking along Abingdon Rd over Donnington Bridge in the heavy rain the pavement was pitted and broken and I couldn't see the extent of the water underfoot, so I was often up to my ankles in it. My feet were soaked. The council is forcing us to walk or cycle, but safe or dry walking is impossible at night time on the Oxford pavements.
