  • The possible reason these gullies get 'blocked'is a lack of keeping them clear of gutter debris. The Scarab only visits about twice a year I think youll find. There IS no official regime otherwise in place to sweep Fitsharris Gutters and weed their pavements now. (Back in the day a dedicated maintenance team operated out of the old stables and may have used things like weedkillers. They were sweeping and maintaining as a full time job) Since no one has responsibility for this its hard to see how anyone can object to private residents initiative. I doubt if its done sensibly any one would care or object. ie 15 minutes with a broom and dustpan whenever its seen clogged. The this situation would be less likely to happen. Prevention is better than cure.

  • Hope the household waste water disposal doesnt get affected? More heavy rain is forecast! Keeping the area tidy and swept may be worth it in future?
