Hole in road round the manhole cover

There is a hole in the road at the edge of the manhole cover on the roundabout. I’ve just witnessed a bus driving over it and the manhole dipped quite a bit. Tarmac is loose and the hole is now bigger

    The pothole is growing deeper and has propagated a crack. The drain cover rocks noisily with almost every vehicle.
