Flooding covering potholes and humps

Reported via mobile by Sandra Clee at 12:24, Saturday 23 September 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later

I report this problem several times each year and in Nov 2017 I sent a photo and write up of this ongoing problem to the Henley Standard and an OCC spokesperson replied …”we are aware of flooding problems on Mill Lane and the intention is to install a soak away and also carry out repair work to the road surface. At the moment there is a development taking place nearby and the soak away and patching will have to take place once that is complete” That was 6 years ago! Where is the local development? Mill lane is surrounded by fields ! Would a highways inspector from OCC please come and do an on-site assessment to confirm that this problem needs urgent attention. Thank you.

  • I don’t think this will ever be fixed, it’s crazy this road has been like his for 10/20 years! Needs sorting once and for all!
