Dangerous parking by school parents while Howes Lane closed

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 13:24, Fri 22 September 2023

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

School parents are parking all along Shakespear Drive on both sides of the road, effectively blocking the road entirely for any other driver. Parents park on both sides of the road and have no thought for the fact that they are blocking the road. This needs immediate attention while Howes Lane is closed as all the traffic that used to use Howes Lane is needing to use this route. I cant understand how the council haven't foreseen this problem and put in a temporary on-road parking ban which is what is needed along this entire road from howes lane to middleton stoney road. Please investigate and take action immediately as this is extremely dangerous.
