19 Fane Road overgrown front garden hedge obstructing path, can this be cut back please. This also applies to other properties in Fane Road making it impossible to walk on the path and having to walk in the street, not ideal for children walking to the local primary school.

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed  from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
