Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council less than a minute later
The response to the original report does not address the issue. In the response it mentions about Town Councils potentially being responsible, and or, the grass is only cut once a year. However, this issues relates to the Earth/ground that was dug up to install the new traffic lights along Wantage Road, whereby, WEEDS, so not grass that needs cutting or weeds that just need cutting as they will re-grow etc, but weeds need digging out as they are impending the view from the junction. Also, the original response mentions that someone will go a view the situation, so how can this task be classified as ‘closed’ prior to the area being reviewed/assessed? Just concerned that if the issue/report is deemed closed then the area specified will not be assessed/reviewed, hence re-opening the report/having to create a new report. Just on this, I think there should be an option to respond to the status of the report following your response!!
Thank you for your enquiry. This issue has been passed onto the relevant team for investigation.

Thank you for your enquiry, we have investigated the site and found that the vision is not impaired. We also do not have a weed removal budget, we will continue to monitor the location on our inspections.
